1- The name of article selected by users consensus. At that time I wasn't manager administrator, and I couldn't use any authority.
2- There is ONE reliable source for "فارس كورفزي". And it is not enough for selection article name.
3-User In fact write "گنه باشلاميئين" in this edit. We had a long discussion about this article in AzWiki. I warned him to comply with Wikipedia's policies.
4- So he show sources for article name. His claims about the sources were completely false. So I warned him again. In both cases, he warned about the possibility of being blocked (Without using the word "I").
5- I warned User Elmju for several edits for example. I wanted him to keep civility in the talk (without word on the block).

After my unblock , I can comment myself . First I have to inform the readers that the Azeri dictation in Perso-Arabic alphabet does not have any manner that all speakers have consensus and not only dictation forms but also dialects may be so different . Can changing the dictation of a word - for one time - be considered as an act of vandalism ? And does it ( single change of a dictation ) deserves a block ? Provided I asked three times for reliable sources which use that form of dictation and there was no answer , and there is still no answer for that ! I think it is smelly that a test admin is accidentally blocking all of the users who had a crash with him in another Wikipedia , and this blocking at least about 3 out of 11 persons who do edit in this test Wiki . Note for Admins:User Alborz Fallah isn't active user at Wp/azb. His all contributions are at Talk pages of articles Persian Gulf and South Azerbaijan. Also he can't write in standard South Azerbaijani (en:orthography. By the way, the grammar and way of writing in any language is almost stable, and having some differences is acceptable. Comments of users active in Wp/azb
  • Soft Oppose. I usually try to be away from challenging and struggling issues and articles as I'm not interested in such matters. I saw the discussion on Persian Gulf article and although I think the name should be 'Persian Gulf' (فارس کؤرفزی), I don't take side in that discussion, because I don't see myself eligible.
    Looking to the Initial request, I personally think this is a war against him with previous grudges from other wikis. One reason for this, is the comming of some users outside azb-test-wiki for opposing him.
    I'm going to oppose with removing him from adminship, because he is a very active and helpful user of our wiki and has done many contributions. Although me too sometimes don't agree with his thoughts and to some degree I give right to InFact to object to some actions of his, I think it's better to give a warning for now and he is better to have a little more open mind to other points of views.    — The preceding unsigned comment was added by موسا (discussion • contribs).

Also, about his blocked account in other wikis, he has been punished and mentioning these things here, in my opinion, doesn't sound good.
I don't want to speak about Khodabandeh14 allegations against Ebrahimi-amir, but for instance I look at his claim, Ebrahimi-amir use that bad satement after another user said: "این نضشه(= نقشه) رو چه احمقی درست کرده؟ that means "Which idiot made this map!"(Arjanizary: Excuse me to write such words here!).
About the disagreement between them, one side is right in some case and another is right in other cases. They (both) aren't patient, and it's the whole problem that I recognized up to now.
At last, I request both sides to be calm and solve the problems by talking about them based on reliable sources. I request dear Ebrahimi-amir to be more open mind about other users opinions as موسا mentioned above. I oppose removing Ebrahimi-amir test-admin rights now. Dear Arjanizary, you and user:E THP are trying to be neutral in the article's talk page and opposing User:Ebrahimi-amir. But it's been a long time and he is not paying attention to you two. A book by a historian and a scholar which was published in Tabriz in Azeri language is so reliable. You know you can not compare it with some separatist websites outside of Iran ! You're right. A book in South Azerbaijani Turkish is more reliable than such websites (even not! websites). But he(=Ebrahimi) did many things for azb test wiki. I think that it's not cool judgment to forget all his good contributions. Evryone have mistakes and every thing should be done in natural way. As an example of lack of knowledge about Wiki rules , I can mention the fact that this test admin does not know the meaning of the term Vandalism in Wikipedia and keeps to label others as vandals . 1) Actually, I have had an account on Wikipedia Azeri before you: [7] although I did not participate much. 2), the maps you created are all over Wikipedia Azeri but they show up in other Wikipedias by ethno-nationalistic users who get banned [8] (note both users who pushed the same map created by Ebrahimi Amir were banned for ethno-nationalistic behaviour and sock-puppetry). Removal is correct choice: Ebrahimi Amir is an ethno-nationalistic and (also in my opinion) a foul editor. Let me just give three examples (these relate to Azeri wikipedia since the ethno-nationalistic maps he has created are only used there):

  • [9]. Here he curses another person who disagrees with his map, calling them "Ahmaq baabaa-ye Jenaab-aali" (English Translation: Your father is stupid moron!). Such a language usually comes from the mouth of ethno-nationalist users. The user is responding either to Mani1 (who made a simple comment on the map) or perhaps to Doug Weller (well respected admin who constantly fights ethno-nationalistic edits in English Wikipedia and who probably used google translator), but even there, the map is so ridiculous and out of touch with reality that Doug Weller (a respected admin) made such a comment. Note this relates to Azeri wikipedia because someone contested his map and it is only used there in that Wikipedia now. Can someone really be an admin using such a language towards someone who disagrees with his ethno-nationalist map?! Which admin (or wikipedia user?) has the right to call someone's father a stupid moron?
  • He was banned as an SPA in English Wikipedia. [10]. He was soliciting votes from Azeri wikipedia and that is why he got banned permanently. The ban was lifted after he apologized. But again the issue had to do with ethno-nationalistic editing and he needed some votes, so he solicited from another Wikipedia.
  • He also has made a series of highly contentious ethnic maps from nationalistic sources (and sometimes just his own prerogative):

    • [13] (Note he claims that the source is 15th edition of ethnologue. But any unbiased user would go the 16th edition of ethnologue and also ethnologue has no map. The reason he uses an old edition of ethnologue is because that edition was not corrected relative to the 16th edition and ethnologue actually has never created ethnic maps of Iran. The user is simply creating a bogus map based on an old edition of ethnologue. He doesn't use the new edition because in the new edition, the ethnic group he wants to expand is only 11 million. Either way, both the new edition and old edition have no ethnic maps).
  • These maps do not match reality. For example in the map above he has put the Kurdish Kirkuk, majority Persian speaking Arak, Qazvin, Hamadan cities, and most of Kordestan province in Iran as Azerbaijani Turkish. Basically one of his main goals is creating highly contentious ethnic maps trying to minimize Kurdish and Persian speakings areas while maximizing Azeri speaking areas in Iran. Here are some of the maps used by Western sources which shows that Ebrahimi Amir is going around creating ethno-nationalist maps (from either dubious ethnonationalist sources or his own imagination as the third map above):
    • Compare his maps to University of Columbia and University of Texas maps: [14][15]. BBC map [16]. Note some of the cities Ebrahimi Amir has claimed as Azeru speaking go as far as Malayer, Khomein and etc. which is ridicolous. The user should actually be banned from Wikipedia.
  • Speaking about maps. He constantly tried to remove a map from from University of Texas [17]. In other words, this user goes around creating ridiculous ethnic maps that are from his own imagination (or flimsy ethno-nationalistic magazines/sources) while trying to delete Britannica, Columbia University and University of Texas, BBC and etc. maps (maps made by respectable organizations).
  • Let me add that I also had run in with Ebrahimi Amir in Turkish wikipedia where he tries to portray the Medes as Turkish people [18]. See the Medes in English Wikipedia [19] (or do a simple google scholar/books search for books in the last 50 years). Every single Wikipedia except the Azeri and Turkish wikipedia have the right information on the Medes. Simply, I ask the people considering to removing Ebrahim Amir from administration (I would actually hope Wikipedia) just do a simple research on the Medes. What he pushed in Turkish wikipedia is not even fringe..it is actually blatantly false and anti-scientific, and can only be explained through ethno-nationalistic editing.
  • Given the above (both the foul language and ethnic maps that is against conventional maps made by reliable organizations, pushing fringe nationalistic sources on the Medes written by nationalistic amateurs), I believe the user should be reprimanded. Actually I would ban all such users who edit from an ethno-nationalistic viewpoint and try to use either fringe or obscure sources to push a POV. There is no excuse to call someone's father "a stupid moron".
  • In short, such users are the ultimate problem of Wikipedia which have caused numerous arbcomm issues due to nationalistic editing. --Khodabandeh14 (talk) 04:30, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • A side comment: I should add also that the problem of nationalistic editing in Wikipedia is a big problem and part of it has to do with some governments putting active lobbyists to edit. If you are interested about this link, the link exists in one or two Persian Wikipedia user pages (not as solicitation to any user but discussion surrounding an article in Azeri Wikipedia). Considering all the votes and comments, I have taken the decision that the removal is   Not done, with the following comments:

  • The criticism against some actions of E THP is quite serious, for example the block of Alborz Fallah. I would like to ask Ebrahimir-amir to refrain from blocking users too early and to be a little more open minded to other points of view, as suggested by موسا.
  • Furthermore, community discussion and consensus on naming conventions etc. should be respected. Please all take in mind that Wikipedia should present a neutral point of view.
  • Long-standing Wp/azb contributors obviously still support Ebrahimir-amir to be a test-sysop, even though they don't agree with all of his actions.

Please give test administrator rights to User:Dodos2013 for the Greek Vikivoyage. The user has been elected in our Community Portal.

Beware that the user started contributions as User:Thiodor2012, then following his request in the Greek Bureaucrats page, we was renamed to User:Dodos and following his latest request (he promised not to ask again :) ) he was finally renamed to User:Dodos2013. We were waiting for this last and final change of name to be implemented before asking for the right of test administrator in this page.

By the way, it appears that renameuser in Greek Wikipedia is not transferred here. All his contributions are independent [22], [23]. If you know what he can ask for fixing it, please let him know.

Therefore, currently there is no account "Dodos2013" here, just the two accounts "Thiodor2012" and "Dodos". This request comes a bit early after the last one. While we don't want to be nitpickish about the exact number of content pages, many of the articles only contain a few bullet points. You certainly don't need to be a test-sysop in order to edit Wy/yue and I haven't seen any vandalism against which you would need to protect it yet either. Now we have to create templates and articles and some other WN pages in there. In order to create these kind of things sometimes we have some unnecessary redirects or pages.
