Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator! At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:

  • If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example Babel templates on it.
  • You can select your interface language in your preferences.
  • If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
  • If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand them!
  • If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow their instructions.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on Incubator:Community Portal.

Wrong code edit

Hi. I am just writing to inform you that you are using a language code (mul) that corresponds to another language. I believe the language you are using is an artificial one so I can suggest you two solutions:

  1. Use Incubator Plus, which is a project for languages that don't have an ISO code.
  2. Create your own wiki at Fandom or Miraheze (both are free to use).

If you have any doubt on how to do so please let me know. Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:18, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

my code is not "mul" my code is mnl Chornobryvci (talk) 12:24, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, that was a typo, the code mnl is taken by Tiale language as you can see here (in the template). Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:29, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
ok i heard help me with this: i want to save my test wiki without losing pages (so they change to mnt prefix like the main page) Chornobryvci (talk) 12:38, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry but mnt is a code for another language. Incubator uses 639-3 code for the different Wikipedias, which is something that has to be given to the language, you can't just create it yourself. Given the fact that your language is an artificial one, it doesn't have any code so it won't be accepted here at the incubator. If you want to use that code, you will have to go to the Incubator Plus which is the first option I gave you. If you want I can move all pages to Incubator Plus or I can just create a wiki in Wikia for you, whatever you prefer. Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:39, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
move in Incubator Plus Chornobryvci (talk) 12:41, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Are you OK if we use the code Wp/mnst for your wiki? Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:45, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, i am ok Chornobryvci (talk) 12:46, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is my test wiki in Incubator Plus? Chornobryvci (talk) 12:49, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, my bad, it will have the code mnl, which can be used there I believe. Please, don't forget that each page has to include [[Category:Wp/mnl]] at the end. Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:54, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Here it is. Caro de Segeda (talk) 12:55, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wp/mnl listed at Requests for deletions edit

An editor has identified a potential problem with one of your test projects contributed Wp/mnl and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Incubator:Requests for deletions/Requests#Wp/mnl until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
