Yucatan Maya

Hi Xoknáal,

In order for the Yucatan Maya Test-Wikipedia to qualify as a Wikipedia, the following criteria would need to be satisfied (eventually):

• Step 1: These 485 most-used interface messages need to be translated into the Yucatan Maya language.

(To translate those system messages, simply follow these steps).

• Step 2: According to the Language subcommittee policy, the Yucatan Maya Incubator Wikipedia will then need to remain active until final approval. (It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months - see automated statistics).
• Step 3: The language committee will then undertake an independent verification of the project through communication with an external contact who can speak the language (This prevents the creation of hoax wikipedias by fraudsters).
• Step 4: If all the above requirements have been met and a detailed investigation finds no unresolved problems, the language subcommittee will notify the Board of Trustees of pending approval. If the board does not veto the decision within at least four days, the request will be approved and developers will be asked to create the wiki [1].

The Book of Mormon is a sacred text of the Latter-day Saint movement. It was first published in March 1830 by Joseph Smith, Jr. as The Book of Mormon: An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi. The plates, Smith said, had been buried in a hill near his home in Manchester, New York, where he found them by the guidance of an angel, a resurrected ancient American prophet-historian named Moroni.
