Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator!
At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:
- If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example Babel templates on it.
- You can select your interface language in your preferences.
- If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
- If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand it!
- If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow the instructions.

Dear Martin Urbanec and MF-Warburg, I have read that the reopening may be at Wednesday. Now I have planned to work on the preparation on Monday and Tuesday. In order to avoid that I'm doing work in vane, I would like to be sure that I can continue to work on it. In fact I have taken free from work these two days to make it a good presentation at the reopening. So therefore my question: can I work on the project on Monday and Tuesday (Central European Time)?
I have another question too, because I didn't succeed to deal with a MetaWiki problem. Does one of you have the knowledge to resolve this problem?
Best regards and thank you for making the reopening possible! Ymnes (talk) 18:46, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Dear Ymnes, sure you can edit the wiki content here on incubator before reopening happens happens! You can edit it before the import and after the reopening too (as there is still no content in the wiki). After the import all edits should be made at the wiki itself. I don't know when the import step would be done as it would be done by MF-Warburg probably.
- Regarding the second question, you can do something like [1]. I can't find recursive listing in DynamicPageList.
- The best wishes, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:30, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reponse. Than I can feel free to go on with my work. What your solution with categorytree concerns, I have seen that one yet. I am actually looking for a possibility to list all the news lines in stead of the category. Not only for Caribisch Nederland, but for all blocks at the top of the new main page. I've been looking around a lot. So any advice to find the solution or a even direction would be very helpful! In any case, thank you for your help! Ymnes (talk) 19:39, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
Importing of trv and tay
editJust wanted to make sure you were aware of this and this. - dcljr (talk) 20:01, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- The importing still doesn't seem to be finished. See, for example, tay:Special:Categories, which shows all categories to be nonexistent, despite there being (sub-) categories listed (here in the Incubator) at Category:Wp/tay (e.g., Category:Wp/tay/Squliq Atayal, the local equivalent of which is tay:Category:Squliq Atayal). Same situation in trvwiki: trv:Special:Categories, Category:Wp/trv, Category:Wp/trv/Truku, trv:Category:Truku. - dcljr (talk) 00:02, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
The creation of the Seediq Wikipidiya
editDear Mr Urbanec, I'm researching the Seediq Wikipidiya and am writing to you about its creation. Is there a talk page associated with the Seediq Wikipidiya from its days in the Incubator and if so how much I access it? As well, I have noticed a few shortcomings and would like to know how to submit feedback. The word for "variety" as in language variety is kleegan, not keelgan, which is a misspelling that appears on many of the pages in Wikipidiya. Thank you very much. Shidailun73 (talk) 05:35, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- (Taking the liberty of jumping in here, as I am watching this page.) Since there is no discussion page associated with Wp/trv and no other pages here beginning with that "prefix", it looks like all the relevant content and discussion that was here before the wiki was created is now on the wiki itself. Therefore, you should be able to find what you need in the Seediq Wikipidiya. (But maybe you're looking for m:Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Kari Seediq or phab:T276246? Note that neither of those pages would "welcome" new comments at this point.) As for "feedback" about problems on that wiki, each article can be discussed on its own discussion page ("Empprngaw"), and problems affecting many pages can be discussed at trv:Wikipidiya:Tmayan qmpringan seejiq (the wiki's "Community portal") — although I have no idea how many of the wiki's active users are watching that page (possibly none of them). Hope that helps. If you need more assistance you can post questions on my talk page over there. - dcljr (talk) 07:12, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
