Thanks edit

Hi Cati,

I see you're doing a lot of work here these days, thanks very much ! You're always a kind of good surprise for me, first when I noticed that you were using lots of my commons pictures on the quechua wikipedia, and now you're even helping here : thanks so much ! --Sylvain2803 15:32, 3 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Lumucha ukucha" nisqaqa manam kanchu edit

Napaykuyki CaTi0604. Für Wp/qug/Lumucha ukucha gibt es weder ein Bild noch eine Beschreibung. Darum muss es wohl erst ein mal gelöscht werden. Bevor wir einen Artikel machen können, müssen wird wissen, was für ein Tier es ist - por clasificar. Darum muss leider weg. :-( Ich habe es in keinem Buch und auch im Internet nicht finden können. Aber keine Panik, wür stürzen uns lieber auf klar zu Beschreibendes, oder. Viele Grüße -- AlimanRuna 14:47, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

-pak edit

Hallo Awkiku, I saw you created the category: "Wp/qug/Awya Yalapak mamallakta". Doesn't -pak mean en: for, es: para, fr: pour - whereas -pa means en: of, es: de, fr: de? At least (I think) in Quechua -paq means "for". (We have: Ecuador mamallaktapa llakta etc., and maybe both is okay.)-- CaTi0604 12:24, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello Cati, yes, you're right, I see page 24 of the DINEIB dictionary that they prescribe -pa for possession, however my kichwa teachers taught me -pak, that's why I'm kind of confused. I think both exist, the official kichwa version of the Constitution is titled ECUADOR LLAKTAPAK MAMAKAMACHIY and they consistently use -pak for possession in the text, and lots of texts use -pak as well. The kichwa grammar on the other hand consistently use -pa. Some texts mix both forms (http://www.lahora.com.ec/index.php/noticias/show/1101047577/-1/%C3%91ukapak_llamakumanta_.html). This is maybe something that depends on the dialect and so I will try to do what they say in the official books. --Awkiku 12:52, 28 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
