Welcome to Wikimedia Incubator!
At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:
- If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example User language templates on it.
- You can select your interface language in your preferences.
- If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
- If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other languages you know, so more people can understand it!
- If you want to translate the interface, please go to Translatewiki.net and follow the instructions.
Do you speak this language? Are you planning to create content? StevenJ81 (talk) 20:34, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi! My friend is a philologist, an expert in the field of Indo-Aryan languages. I expect to involve him in the project. 91i79 (talk) 20:45, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- That's fine. We're trying not to keep around infrastructure for projects that never get built; it makes it hard to keep track of what's going on here. As long as someone is going to add content here in the not-too-distant future, that's fine. Thanks. StevenJ81 (talk) 20:48, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- Ok. There are specialist philologists or native speakers who do not understand the construction of sites very much. They need technical support. 91i79 (talk) 20:59, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- I will provide support as I can. You're an experienced Wikimedian yourself—sysop at ruwiki, right?—so any help you can give your friends would be quite helpful, as well. The main things to keep in mind that are really different here are:
- All pages prefixed, and all links, template calls, etc., also prefixed.
- No Wikidata access here yet (not sitelinks, and not arbitrary access).
- Ping me if you have questions. StevenJ81 (talk) 21:26, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- This language is used in India, so contacting m:Wikimedia India would be more helpful? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 06:57, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

- @StevenJ81: 3 months past, but this user still don't create Magahi contents... --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 14:07, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Liuxinyu970226: I noticed. I was giving the user some time, but I'm going to go ahead and delete the page. It's easy enough to recreate if someone comes back to work here. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:17, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
