Deletion request for Wy/hi/विकियात्रा:सहायता

All the other pages you tagged for deletion I have deleted. In this particular case, is there a reason that you cannot (a) add the missing information, and/or (b) move the page to the right place? StevenJ81 (talk) 13:39, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

@StevenJ81: This is help page (Wikivoyage:Help) and this page need Wikivoyage namespace. We will create this namespace pages when this project move to own subdomain. Thanks for deleting other pages.--स (talk) 14:15, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Well, it's a good question whether it should be in Wikivoyage: namespace or in Help: namespace. But there is no reason such a page cannot and should not be created now. It can stay exactly where it is—you should complete it or improve it if you can. Then when the project is moved to a subdomain it will automatically be moved right into the correct namespace. So here's a little peculiarity about how Incubator works: categories and templates are immediately started in their proper namespaces, so even here get placed as [[Category:Wy/hi/...]] and [[Template:Wy/hi/...]]. But that doesn't happen with Project or Help pages. In the Incubator, those are reserved for pages concerning the Incubator itself. Instead, we have projects place such pages nominally in the mainspace, with names like [[Wy/hi/Wikivoyage:...]] or [[Wy/hi/Help:...]]. When the projects are exported to their own subdomains, those pages are immediately dropped into their correct namespaces in the new subdomain. Compare, for example, Wy/fi/Wikimatkat:Apua and voy:fi:Wikimatkat:Apua—the latter was later moved to Help: space, but the original redirect remains—or Wy/fi/Wikimatkat:Kahvihuone and voy:fi:Wikimatkat:Kahvihuone. It really works out fine.

The only way to create Project or Help pages here is to create them in mainspace. Your test can choose to create no such pages here, and only try to create them when you have a subdomain. But I don't advise that; you're far better off doing it this way. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:45, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Delete reasons

Hi,

when marking page for deletion, please provide reasons for deleting it in some language which at least one administrator speaks fluently (English is always the best choice, but feel free to use other), so the request can be evaluated and deletion performed. Pages marked {{Delete}} without evaluable reason can't be deleted.
