The leaves can be crushed to apply to wounds and can be steamed and releive congestion when people have colds or flu.

Gum

The gum was used as an ointment for sores. it can also be eaten in small amounts to relieve dysentery (please note, do not attempt to use bush medicine without the guidance of a trained healer or persons).
