Welcome to the Wikimedia Incubator! You can find help on Help:Contents. If your English knowledge is good, you can translate that page to other language you know so more people can understand it!

Please also make a user page with for example babel templates on it.

You can select your interface language in your preferences.

If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!

Greetings, SPQRobin 13:21, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Добро пожаловать в вики!Edit

The Language WarriorEdit

Hello and Thanks. I do not know anything more. I could open a few pages. I know very very very little Yup'ik. I'm glad to your message. Thanks, Ярмань. --Kmoksy 09:05, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Incubator is too complicated and difficult. I do not know how to do what.--Kmoksy 09:15, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
The native speaker Rower Chevak (She is a Cup'ik dialect of Yup'ik language teacher in the Alaska, USA). She is a new user ([[4]]). But, herself not like someone to contribute. We met on Facebook ([5]) --Kmoksy 09:44, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
I sent messages to his teacher ([[6]]) --Kmoksy 09:59, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Non-Yupik contributors, just I and you. Rower Chevak is native Yupik teacher (in the Chevak, Alaska). But, she (Rower) not contrubute. --Kmoksy 11:15, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Her students see my messages on the Facebook grup (Cup'ik Word Of The Day - Chevak). Maybe someone can help in the future. --Kmoksy 11:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Okay :-) Thanks. I do not know the procedures on the Incubator. :-) Thanks. --Kmoksy 12:19, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

My interested languages are EskimoanEdit

The Turkish academics Mehmet Kara's article ("Bir Eskimo Dilinde Türkçenin İzleri" = The Turkic Tracks in an Eskimo Language) on the Iñupiaq language. To Kara 50-60 Iñupiaq words from Turkish borrowing. But, to me, His examples not correct. Because all not Turkic. The my academic article on the Internet ([8]) (greatest pdf !). My article a research on Eskimo languages (including Iñupiaq ; also Inuktitut, Kalaallisut, Yup'ik (Cup'ik and Cup'ig). and Alutiiq) . --Kmoksy 22:13, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, Jarmanj. My true name is Ümüt Çınar. I'm 45 years old. --Kmoksy 22:54, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
40 and 45 is similar ! . Thanks, you are big man, really. Thanks, for friendly words. Your name Turtash is a bird "thrush" (Turdus). --Kmoksy 23:08, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
The Turkish name for Turdus is ardıçkuşu or ardıç kuşu. The meaning: "the ardıç bird" or "the juniper bird". Ha ha :-). Thanks. --Kmoksy 23:40, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
The black male and spotted female. They are edible :-) . Html !. I went to computer classes and a half years ago I learned. :-) . I've designed my own site completely. --Kmoksy 00:51, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Ikirun = Main pageEdit

You similated The Yup'ik test wiki main page (Ikirun) as Moksha wiki. Okay, Okay, Okay :-) --Kmoksy 01:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

You're right, to be not similar. Yup'ik Ikirun should be simple. There are translation problems. Rower Chevak could not translate some of the words. Let's give some words in English. --Kmoksy 12:39, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Beta MetaEdit

Thanks Турташ. New user from Turkish Wikipedia ([9]. I'm hopeful. Thanks. --Kmoksy 14:55, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

No news yet from Rower Chevak. I checked meta:Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Central Alaskan Yup'ik. I ok for submitting to m:Requests_for_new_languages (I excluded "discussion", included "eligible"; I make true or false? :-). ). Thanks, Turtash and Amir. --Kmoksy 15:04, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Excluding words from template was not correct, you made an attempt to violate incubator regulations :) I amended all. You and Ms. Chevak need to start translating 'most used messages' on [10] as soon as (in translatewiki you can change interface language to Turkish)--Kolaksaj 18:55, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
  • Hi, Ümüt, have you started translation of 500 most used messages? We need more contributors, supporters for Yup'ik to make their comments. Sorry for not backing you up, have some problems at work at the moment. Please be careful. All requirements must be met in due time.--Kolaksaj 21:42, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry :-) Rower Chevak is not translated. The two teachers (Rower Chevak's friends) not contact me. I was lonely. I not know Yupik. I'm hopeless. --Kmoksy 21:59, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Anyway, we can try. Let's try to translate 500 messages comparing to ik.wiki messages and using English borrowings. Later we'll find opportunity to amend them. I'll try to help you. Okay?--Kolaksaj 21:56, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
OK. Where is the list of 500 messages? Is there such a list ? Where we can find a list? :-) I am working on Eskimo articles in the Turkish Wikipedia: Especially, YUPİKLER, YUPİKÇE, SUPİKLER, SUPİKÇE, İNYUPİKLER :-() --Kmoksy 22:26, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Yup'ik KidsEdit

We need at least two native speakers, Ümüt, may be you could invite some of those Yup'ik students in facebook? Age or education are not important--Kolaksaj 20:57, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Facebook ([11]]). But, I have no hope .-) --Kmoksy 21:20, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
