Greetings! I hail from Tripura, India, and initially engaged in editing on English Wikipedia, focusing on template and module-related projects. Despite my efforts, many of my contributions faced rejection or lacked consensus, leading to a sense of disillusionment. Feeling that my works didn't have any value, I ultimately left English Wikipedia. Consequently, I shifted my focus to various Bengali Wikimedia projects, finding renewed enthusiasm. Eager to contribute meaningfully to Bengali Wikipedia, I'm navigating this journey with determination. Presenting myself as Asked42, an enthusiast learning and growing through Wikimedia experiences.

editI primarily contribute to Bengali Wikinews. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how or why I ended up dedicating most of my time to this project—but here I am, deeply invested. There are moments when I question the future of Bengali Wikinews. It often feels like it’s stuck on the back burner for most editors, with few willing contributors and limited momentum.
Yet, I hold on to hope. I believe that, one day, Bengali Wikinews will thrive with a vibrant and active community of editors. The goal isn’t just to transition out of the incubator and establish it's own site. It’s to continuously develop and refine Wikinews, delivering fast yet accurate news to readers in Bengali.
That said, I’ll admit there are times when my motivation falters. I’m not sure how long I can keep pushing forward alone. But as long as I can, I’ll continue to give my best to this project, in the hope that my efforts might inspire others to join and carry the torch forward.
