Maybe it's a bit better to use "Italian sculptor" instead of "sculptor in/of Italy"? Unfortunately, I don't know how to say this. --Tomoi (diskussii • tond) 06:18, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
- It's speculation but I think an Italian would be itāļli, by analogy with dēņli ("a Dane"), also rūotšli, etc. Although there are ethnonyms that stay unsuffixed, e.g., saksā "a German". Searching for *āļ (any word that would be similar to an unsuffixed itāļ) I didn't get any matches. So, idk, "the jury is out" as they say. :) Neitrāls vārds (talk) 22:31, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
