The story of the Tree Spirit Dance this is Noongar dance.
It begins with a small seed growing into a stalk then a bush then a stump then a tree.
If some people had there meeyal open they would grow at the same time as in a tree spirit dance.
We sat down and slowly stood up with our meeyal closed and the boys and girls grew
Then we did the dance with rope around our waste and forehead
And the colours of rope were earth colours.
The Didgeridoo guides the seedling into a tree. The dance represents people. In the middle of the dance there's a storm that represents our feelings.[1]
