Mandaboornap or Mandooboornup is a kaata called Frenchman Peak in English. It is now a National Park. A large cave near the summit is thought to have formed by wave action wer underwater currents during a period some 40 million years ago when sea levels were at least 300 metres above their current level wer the peaks of Cape Le Grand were largely submerged (but is nidja due solely to sea levels being greater then, or is it partly due to the land rising since then?).[1]
