URhodes wayenza imvumelwano loLobengula ukuthi uzabhadala uLobengula ngemali, izikhali lesikepe ukuze uLobengula amvumele amalungelo okwemba amatshe eMatabeleland leMashonaland lapho okuyikho uLobengula owayebusa khona. Imvumelwano leyi yachasiselwa kuLobengula ngamazwi womlomo ngoba uLobengula wayengakwazi ukubala.
