Atiwa West District be one of de thirty-three districts wey dey Eastern Region for Ghana insyd.[1][2][3][4][5] Na ebe originally den formerly part of de den-larger East Akim District for 17 February 2004 insyd, wey dem create am from de former East Akim District Council, till dem split off de eastern part of de district wey dem create de Atiwa East District for 1 June 2018 insyd; dat be say dem rename de remaining part as Atiwa West District. De district assembly dey de central part of Eastern Region wey Kwabeng be ein capital town.
