Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Assembly be one of de eleven districts for Bono East Region wey edey Ghana.[1] Originally na ebe part of de den bola Atebubu District on 10 March 1989, until ein northern part for de district dem split am off go create Pru District on 12 November 2003 (effectively 18 February 2004); thus de part wey remain dem rename as Atebubu-Amantin District, wey later dem elevate am go municipal assembly status on 15 March 2018 wey e cam turn Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Assembly.[2] De municipality dey for de east central part for de Bono East Region den Atebubu be ein capital town.[3]

District Substructure

As of 2018, de municipal dey comprise of eight (8) zonal councils. Des towns be: Atebubu, Amantin, New Konkrompe, Jato Zongo, Akokoa, Nyomoase, Kumfia/Fakwasi den Garadima.[4]

According to de 2010 population den housing census of Ghana de population for de Atebubu-Amantin District be 105,938. 50.7% of de population be males den females dey make up 49.3% for demma population. Majority of de population dey reside insyd two principal towns of Atebubu den Amantin.[5]
