Ibrahim begin ein political career for 2009 insyd after dem declare am de winner for de 2008 Ghanaian General Elections for ein constituency. Dem san elect go into de 5th Parliament for de 4th Republic of Ghana for 7 January 2009 insyd. After he plete ein first term for office, Ibrahim go contest again for another term for 2013 insyd den whip Joe Danquah to claim ein seat. For 2015 insyd, he go contest den chop for de NDC parliamentary primaries for Banda constituency wey dey Bono Region for Ghana. He san chop ein parliamentary seat for de 2016 Ghanaian general elections by getting 6,167 votes wey rep 52.03% against ein opponent 5,660 votes wey rep 47.76%.[7][8]


Ibrahim be member of de Special Budget Committee; member for de Communications Committee; member for de Local Government den Rural Development Committee; wey he san be de member for de Business Committee.[6]
