While no oppositions, I'd love to know that what's the reason you created this category, since there's some concerns about such per-country categories on the benefit of having them. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 04:12, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, it's just similar to other categories like Test wikis of languages of Russia, ...of Indonesia, ...of India etc. I can assume that local Wikimedia organizations will be able to see which wiki projects in local languages may need support. For example Wikimedia Japan, which doesn't currently officialy exist but surely will, may use the category for Test wikis of languages of Japan to learn which projects are potentially falling into the field of its scope, instead of long searchings (or instead of being in dark about the existance of projects contained there). I understand that it may able to resolve just too narrow task but anyway, while the similar categories exist they don't look doubtful for community and there's a way to justify them... Were there any discussions about them? --Wolverène (talk) 09:47, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
Incubator Wp/Sjn
editHello, friend. I want to ask you just one thing--what do you mean when you talk about progress? What does it consist of for you personally, and what has made its fruits possible? Without waiting for your answer, I will give mine. Progress, as the meaning of the word implies, is development. Development is impossible without knowledge, and knowledge cannot be transmitted without a means of communication. There are over 7000 languages on Earth today, and many languages are spoken by small peoples, whose names are sometimes known only to them. As far as I know, the Wikipedia project is focused on passing on knowledge, spreading it to as many people as possible. But, what do we do if we know how to reconstruct new words for the target language, and we can translate the whole Wikipedia into the target language because of it? Judging by today's Wikipedia logic - refuse to transmit knowledge in the target language, that is, refuse to let Wikipedia fulfill the mission for which it was created and exists. And at a moment when all the necessary tools exist, Wikipedia's logic declares: The sun chooses for whom it shines. I think millions of people would disagree with this rhetoric. The Sindarin language, which has the status of an international language, is like a river, capable of infusing many and many shores, giving life to new rivers, whose common name is the languages of small peoples. The emergence and development of their linguistic sections also requires a long and difficult road, but the ultimate goal is worth it, because that is what Wikipedia is all about. Only new experiences can lead to development, and I believe in sharing knowledge and culture with the world's small peoples, if the Wikipedia project on Sindarin is to develop. At the same time, I truly believe: the Sun shines for all. From the bottom of my heart I ask you to change your mind about the project. Only with your support, and with your goodwill, will we make the world a better place, and help Wikipedia to achieve a great victory by impressing ignorance with knowledge. Please support, and do not reject, Wp/Sjn, and many more language projects will soon blossom based on the experience of this language project.--Calad-ne-dúath (talk) 06:33, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

INTERWIKI
editHi, I see you've added a few interwiki links using the new template. There is now a new gadget (enabled by default for everyone) that makes it easy to do it in just one step. All you need to do is to click the "Add interlanguage links" link in the sidebar, and a dialog opens that makes it easy. You can enter just the Wikidata ID, or the URL to any Wikipedia (or sister project) article, or even old-style interwiki like "en:Page title", and it will add the template with the right QID automatically. Neo Wikipedia
editHi Wolverène, how are you? Are you still interested in developing the Neo Wikipedia? Caro de Segeda (talk) 05:41, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- Honestly, I don't know. I didn't lose the interest completely, but I don't imagine what to do there without more-less regular contributors. --Wolverène (talk) 05:45, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- I don't speak the language, but I can try to create new articles, even if they are short. I talk to you there. Caro de Segeda (talk) 05:52, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
