Welcome edit

Welcome to the Wikimedia Incubator! At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:

 • If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example babel templates on it.
 • You can select your interface language in your preferences.
 • If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
 • If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other language you know, so more people can understand it!
 • If you want to translate the interface, please go to Betawiki, create an account and follow the instructions you will see.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask it on my talk page.

Preview edit

Bonjour,

Welcome to the Incubator. The Vepsian Test Wikipedia needs native speakers.

Do you know that before publishing your edit, you may, you MUST, preview it, in order to avoid excessive numbers of edits (e. g. see here, 6 edits in 10 minutes) ? Within two previews, you may correct your text, without storing it on the computers of Wikimedia and fulling the history of the article. Thanks.

Translation request edit

Please, could you make this article onto Vepsian language?. Thanks a lot for your help. If you want to translate any article onto Catalonian language, tell it to me, please. --Chabi 20:12, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kurów edit

Could you please write a stub http://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/vep/Kurow – just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 5-10 sentences enough. Please.

PS. Article about Kurów is already in 314 languages and dialects. If your village/town/city isn't yet on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests and this article have the biggest number of interwikis) Pietras1988 TALK 12:31, 20 January 2009 (UTC) Reply

Wp/vep/Kurow ;]

« ’ » and « ' ». edit

Bonjour,

Please, use « ’ » – e. g. « Vepsän kel’ » instead of « ' » – « Vepsän kel' ».

Thanks,

Categorization edit

Bonjour,

Veps Wikipedia is growing… Please, read this. Add « Category:Wp/vep » in an article only if there is no specific category for this article : « Category:Wp/vep » must contain only the Main Page and all the categories. You may list the categories you need… You may include a non existent category in an article ; it appears in red, but it doesn't matter. Last thing : don't add a default sort with a letter, « Category:Wp/vep|A » ; this sorts the articles without prediction of the final result ; use instead  ; use this pattern at the end of articles :

<!--Categories-->

<!--Interwikis-->
(list)

Hi! I need help yet for Categorization. Can you show one example. I need new categoria: Kažiživatad - Felidae Triple-ADHD-AS 10:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
(Please, leave the conversation on the page of its beginning.)
One example… For example, Lev. When creating this article, add at its end :
<!--Categories-->

<!--Interwikis-->
ee:Lõvi
en:Lion
hu:Oroszlán
mdf:Орксофта
ru:Лев
fi:Leijona
The non-existent « Kažiživatad » appears in red ; click on it, and add this text :
<!--Categories-->

<!--Interwikis-->
(list)
Here, « name » is « Kažiživatad » ; the « upper category » is « Živatad » (whose upper category is « Wp/vep » !), and « list » is
ee:Kategooria:Kaslased
en:Category:Felines
hu:Kategória:Macskafélék
ru:Категория:Кошачьи
fi:Luokka:Kissaeläimet
Try with a new article !
(You may add a first line in the new category, e. g. « This category is for Kažiživatad (Felidae). »)
