Hello,

Konkani Wikipedia discussion edit
Hello Rosario Fernandes, please can you support my proposal to include Romi articles in the Konkani Wikipedia?

- Hello Rosario, thanks a lot for your reply. The decision for importing the Latin script articles and for having a dual script Wikipedia rests with the Language Committee (LangCom). MF-Warburg is a member of LangCom. We could have had a Devnagari-Latin script Wikipedia at the beginning itself, but unfortunately, the request was made for only Devanagari script. Now we need to request LangCom to approve the Latin script too. I have written a request here:
- If you agree with my request, then please express your support strongly on that page and also please spread the message and ask others who are in favour of Romi Konknni to also support. You may also leave a message in support of Latin script in the Konkani Wikipedia at the LangCom talk Page. If many editors express their support, I think there is a good chance that they will approve Latin Konkani too, the reason being, that all the conditions for the inclusion of Latin Konkani are fulfilled (localisation and active community). We just have to bring this fact to their notice. This is our big opportunity, but we need the numbers. Mog asum di, The Discoverer (talk) 10:37, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
