A little help needed

Hello, i see you are focusing on Indonesian Wikinews... I already invited some people to help release the Indonesian incubator project, but it seems like they want to do Wikivoyage first.

Interwikilinks on Nias Wikibooks (incubator)

Hi, thank you for adding interwikilinks to a few bible pages in Nias Wikibooks (incubator). However I believe the linked wikidata items are wrong.

As far as I understand, the target wikidata item is for an article on certain book in the bible, not the bible texts itself. For example the corresponding article of d:Q9177108 on the idwiki is https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markus_11

The pages you interlinked on the Nias Wikibooks (incubator) are bible texts itself (not articles on the text!). We do this as bible texts are the gateway to written Nias, many Nias people don't know anymore. The texts will also help us resurrect forgotten words we badly need now, as many people don't know how to say certain things anymore in Nias language.

In the regard the interwikilinks you already made are unfortunately misleading. Unfortunately another user did the same too. So a lot of works for us to remove the interwikilinks.

@slaia: Are you sure about that? Wikidata is linking various Wikimedia Projects, not just because its an "article".

Go see the Wikidata for Yohanes I , the Wikipedia for Yohanes I, and the Wikibooks for Yohanes I. They are all connected by the same Wikidata. Rena Rubel (talk) 10:27, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

O gosh, you are right. Although after reading the Wikibooks article it's about updating the text for modern readers, while the text on Nias Wikibooks (incubator) are the digitalised version of Sundermann's bible texts (printed in 1890 and 1911). But I admit, you are right.

Anyway are you sure it's correct to link pages in incubator, which will be on another domain once approved, to wikidata? I don't know much about this. Thanks. slaiatalk 11:39, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

First, the link in Incubator won't appear in Wikidata, it's just a "mock-up" for easier editing and importing.

Second, the digitalised version of old books/letters/documents are technically belong in Wikisource. Since Nias Wikisource is not yet exist, you can save it on Nias Wikibooks until the time comes.
