Import request (Hungarian Wikinews)

Hello there,

I would like to ask for your help with importing the closed Hungarian Wikinews. The import was partially done back in 2011 - main namespace articles (starting with R and after in ABC order), portal and category namespaces seem to be missing. According to the user list you seem to have import rights here - please tell me so, if I have mistaken or you are no longer active here. - Xbspiro (talk) 21:37, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi Xbspiro. I indeed got this right when I wanted to imported pages from frwiktionary to here. I do not know Wikinews so maybe I can help you but could you list me all pages you want to import? Thanks in advance. Pamputt (talk) 07:15, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

No problem Xbspiro. I looked at your list. It seems fine. However it is currently not possible to import from wn/hu. We need to create a Phabricator ticket, such as this one. Maybe StevenJ81 can confirm that point. This is what I did to be able to import from the French Wiktionary. Pamputt (talk) 20:42, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Hmmm, actually StevenJ81 seems not to be here anymore. So Sotiale or MF-Warburg could you confirm the procedure to be able to import pages from hu.wikinews? Pamputt (talk) 07:03, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you Pamputt for your help. I have got the importer right myself a few days ago to finish the hu.wn job. I have been able to import a page via XML upload (using Special:Export on hu.wn, then Special:Import in Incubator), so I think the ticket might not be needed. - Xbspiro (talk) 14:16, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
