June 2019

Hi, Xaosflux.

  • As far as I can tell, the Incubator: and Help: namespaces, as well as their associated talk spaces, are clear of HIGH and MEDIUM errors at this point. Additionally, I think the MediaWiki:, Template: and Category: spaces are clear of any such errors on non-prefixed pages. Would you mind having a quick look to see if I've missed anything in any of those areas?
  • Are there immediate plans to address LOW items?
  • Separately, just a question for you. The other wiki I'm really "responsible for" (such as it is) is Judeo-Spanish (Ladino) Wikipedia. There, we're clear of HIGH completely, and clear of MEDIUM everywhere except User: and User talk:, so I'm pretty satisfied there. I've been slowly working down the LOW items there (outside of user/user talk), and have mostly had no issues. I do have two things that have cropped up that I hope you can help me with. (Convenience link: lad:Especial:Errores de sintaxis) (1) It shows I have a "stripped" tag in lad:Brasil. But when I look at the editing box on the page, the initial tag is there. So I don't quite understand why it's showing an error. (2) It shows a few pages with "missing end tags" coming through lad:Template:Aerolinea. I'm not an incompetent template editor—I hold that flag on enwiki—but I can't for the life of me figure that one out. Can you help me over there? Thanks. @StevenJ81: for Brasil, the problem was elsewhere on the page, a broken referenced: w:lad:Special:Diff/203990 fixed it. Xaosflux (talk) 23:44, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
@StevenJ81: for the Aerolinea items, sometimes the special Linter page doesn't get it exactly right, it can indicate that code used BY the template is bad, not only that the template contains the code. For example, see the fix here: w:lad:Special:Diff/203996. Xaosflux (talk) 23:56, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Regarding "LOWs" - there isn't a big rush, normally they are low because the current parser doesn't really break the presentation, but it may in the future. Xaosflux (talk) 23:57, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks very much. I appreciate it. StevenJ81 (talk) 13:10, 28 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
