Welcome edit

Welcome to the Wikimedia Incubator! At the right there are some important links, and here are some tips and info:

  • If you haven't created a user page yet, please create one with for example babel templates on it.
  • You can select your interface language in your preferences.
  • If you make articles, templates or categories, don't forget to add a prefix!
  • If your knowledge of English is good, you can help with translating pages to other language you know, so more people can understand it!
  • If you want to translate the interface, please go to Betawiki, create an account and follow the instructions you will see.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask it on my talk page.

Mapudungun spellings edit

Hi. Thanks for your message and thanks for your work at arn:wikt. I think that it is possible to have an automatic transliteration system. I. e.: you'll enter to kawell and in top there will be a button for "transliterate to Raguileo" and vice versa. Another choice could be to use the same system that original writer in eache page: I. e: you make xewa and I make kawell; if you edit in kawell, you use Unified Alphabet and if I edit in xewa, I use Raguileo. However, spelling is a major issue and should be discussed by the future community of native speakers. I'm sorry for my English. Bye. Lin linao allkütueyu 22:35, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Two alphabets edit

Yes, I do. Where are you chatting about?
I searched for a Wikipedia with an authomatic transliteration system, but I did'nt find anything. Bye. Lin linao allkütueyu 06:43, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I am emailing with Milos, he is saying that there is a way. The chinese and serbian wikipedia has a button that changes the alphabet. Look at this, there are two buttons next to the "history" button that changes the alphabet. I don't understand how it works yet but I am asking more questions, it is some kind of python programming code. -Edelstam 13:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Milos has now started a mail-list about the conversion/transcript: mapudungun@googlegroups.com, I don't how you can join a maillist but I can invite you if you give me your email. -Edelstam 16:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I just read on the mail-list that it is best to email millosh@gmail.com and ask to be added to the mapudungun mailing list for those who wants to join it -Edelstam 17:55, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
