DescriptionVenezia - Hotel San Fantin (1870) - Foto Giovanni Dall'Orto, 6-Aug-2007 - 14.jpg
English: Personification of Venice in glory, surrounded by iron cannon balls, and the inscription from Dante's Commedia "Now any cowardice must die out". It stands on the facade of Hotel San Fantin in Venice (next to the Teatro La Fenice Opera House), which displays on its front weapons from the 1848-1849 Revolution, and patriottic reliefs related with it. It was built in 1870. Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, August 3, 2007.
