中文（臺灣）：長條形的旗津島最初是由沙丘與高雄市相連的，因港口擴建而將旗津與高雄切斷，使旗津變成了一個單獨的島嶼。
旗後山位於高雄市旗津區北側，是旗津區的最高點，也是壽山國家自然公園最南端的一座山，由於隔著高雄港與鼓山對峙，而有「旗鼓相當」的稱譽。旗後燈塔雄踞在旗後山的最高點處，在此可俯瞰高雄港全貌。
English: The long-shaped Cijin Island was originally connected to Kaohsiung city by sandbanks. A harbor expansion project cut Cijin off from Kaohsiung, turning Cijin into a separate island. Cihou Mountain is located on the north side of Cijin District in Kaohsiung City. It is the highest point in Cijin District and the southernmost mountain in Shoushan National Nature Park. Cihou Lighthouse stands at the highest point of Cihou Mountain, where you can see the whole view of Kaohsiung Port. |
