Deutsch: Ottar von Hålogaland bereiste um 890 im Auftrag König Alfreds des Großen von Wessex die Nordküste Norwegens bis ins Weiße Meer. Anschließend fuhr er durchs Kattegatt nach Hedeby und dann nach London.
English: Ottar of Hålogaland travelled the north coast of Norway to the White Sea around 890 on behalf of King Alfred the Great of Wessex. He then drove through the Kattegatt to Hedeby and then to London.
