English: In April of 2012, Erwin Bogs Rempola and his wife Darlene Sunas Rempola and with his sister Jeanette Rempola Hodes founded the first public library in Bato, Camarines Sur, Philippines. It was named MTBK (Mga Taga Bato Kami) library and was managed by the local church. The first location was in the adjacent building of the church. In January of 2019, MTBK formed a partnership with Divina Pastora Barangay Council led by Edgar Dancalan and “Sangguniang Kabataan” led by Alyssa Nuyda to move the MTBK Library to a new location more accessible to the public. The library was moved to the old Divina Pastora Barangay Hall. As a result of the partnership, the library changed its name to MTBK Divina Pastora Library.
