Summary
DescriptionIn our house in Belize City 1975 - Kitchen Stove.jpg
English: Barracks Road, Belize City, 1975.
IFrog with Mother in the kitchen. Photo by my Father.
Mother might be cooking something, as likely is just boiling water. At the time the tap water came untreated from the Belize river, with visible bits of whatever in it, and was not sanitary. It needed to be filtered and boiled before it was drinkable.
I probably got that pose with my hat from an illustration of early Maya ruins explorers in one of the old books I was reading at the Bliss Institute library, where I was continuing my education self-directed while my parents worked at the old Belize City Hospital. I'm wearing a University of South Florida shirt; I took night classes there while still in High School.
