العربية: منارة رأس سبارطيل، بالقرب من طنجة، المغرب. تم بناء المنارة، التي يبلغ ارتفاعها 24 مترا، بين عامي 1861 و1864 وكانت آنذاك مثالا للتعاون الدولي بين حكومات المملكة المتحدة وفرنسا وإسبانيا والولايات المتحدة التي مولت بناء وصيانة المنارة ووافقت على حيادها في حالة الحرب بين هذه البلدان.
Español: Faro del cabo Espartel, cerca de Tánger, Marruecos. El faro, de 24 m de altitud, se construyó entre 1861 y 1864 y fue entonces un ejemplo de cooperacion internacional, en este caso entre los gobiernos del Reino Unido, Francia, España y los Estados Unidos que financiaron la construcción y mantenimiento del faro y acordaron su neutralidad en caso de guerra entre estos países.
English: Lighthouse of Cape Spartel, near Tangier, northern Morocco. The 24 metres (79 ft) hight lighthouse was constructed between 1861 and 1864 and and was a prime example of international agreement, in this case between the British, French, Spanish, and American governments that supported the lighthouse’s construction, and also agreed its neutrality in case of war.
