Il s'est frayer un chemin dans le temps, pour encore offrir ses services au assoiffer dans les grande places des Medinas Marocaines, sont costume est ses outils de travailles sont des produits artisanaux, confectionnés par les mains de maitres (Maalam) dans différentes disciplines artisanales. Des peaux animals pour contenir son eau au frais, du cuivre pour ses tasses, du cuir pour ses ceintures, de la laine et tissues teints pour l'habille.
