Deutsch: „Das Wappen zeigt in der oberen Hälfte auf goldenem (gelbem) Grunde einen schreitenden rotbewehrten und -bezungten schwarzen Löwen und durch einen blauen Wellenbalken geteilt in der unteren Hälfte auf silbernem (weißem) Grunde ein geteiltes durchgehendes schwarzes Kreuz.“

English: „The left arms were officially granted on December 21, 1977. The lion and cross in the second arms are taken from the former arms (see below), and are combined with a blue wavy bar symbolising the Rhine river. The previous arms were granted in 1935.“
