王賢明，本名王蚋毛厘，明治36年(1903)生於埔里烏牛欄，大正8年(1919)3月，烏牛欄公學校卒業。後進入臺灣總督府遞信養成所修業，修了後約大正12年(1923)開始任職於埔里郵便局，擔任通信技手。 昭和11年(1936)10月1日，王蚋毛厘這位平埔巴宰菁英升任判任官，因此拍下這張十分榮耀的「小官著服紀念」照片，官帽上有「台」字徽章，並有配刀。 戰後，王賢明被派任成為埔里郵便電信局第一位台灣人局長。 圖：感謝王慶福先生提供 |
