Grouping edit

It would be great if this list is grouped according language group/family. -- Si Gam (talk) 06:28, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Araona edit

There’s a listing for «Orqnchi'a Aqoana / 𐤏𐤓𐤊𐤍𐤆𐤉𐤀 𐤀𐤒𐤏𐤀𐤍𐤀», with the language name splled in both Latin and Phoenician scripts. While I’d find extremely neat to learn that this South American language has been orthographed to use something other than the Latin script, I think this is rather a case of trolling, as the en:wp article mentions nothing of the sort. "having some active content creation since the beginning of 2016" edit

I think it's OK for me to change it to 2017 now? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 12:13, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Liuxinyu970226: Well, don't do that yet, because I haven't actually started a new review of the tests, and what is here still reflects "2016", not "2017". I'm planning to do a review (with 2017 as the basis) during December, and when I'm done I'll change it. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:35, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

When start 2019 verification? edit

--117.13.95.179 08:44, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

What are you asking? StevenJ81 (talk) 14:37, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Steven, I think they're meaning that when we can change "having some active content creation since" year, so I guess that changing that in every April, May or June of year would better? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 09:22, 9 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Liuxinyu970226, Ooswesthoesbes: You changed it earlier last year than I would have.
In any case, the main thing that drives this for me is the not-quite-twice-yearly review I do of all the tests—last round with the help of OWTB—and which I use to populate {{Test status statistics}}. The "active content creation since" should change no more often than every other review cycle. The reason is that for the in-between cycles, that means that all already-active tests are still active, which cuts down the workload a bit.
On the current "every seven months or so" cycle, the next review would be in about April, and the following review in November. So that probably makes something like October 1 the time to push it forward this year. StevenJ81 (talk)

Most active incubator wikis edit

Is there a way to see which incubator wikis are the most active ones? A list like meta:List of Wikipedias would be helpful. Voltairacus (talk) 21:54, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Voltairacus status=active? Or you can consider Incubator:Featured wikis if very big. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 03:35, 6 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please add Old Japanese Wikipedia edit

There has been Old Japanese Wikipedia for about 1.5 years, but it hasn't been added to the list of Wikimedia Incubator. https://incubator.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/ojp/%E3%83%A1%E3%82%A4%E3%83%B3%E3%83%9A%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8

Hi, as Incubator:Administrators'_noticeboard#ojp_code_doesn't_work said, we don't allow any ancient, extinct and/or historical languages to be incubated, so not done, sadly. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 07:13, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia East Frisian (wp/frs) Ōstfräisk edit

I think the link is misleading. It points at an incubator Wiki for Eastern Frisian Low German (code frs) but it directs to an article about Saterland Frisian language (code stq). For Saterland Frisian a Wikipedia exists. 2.65.105.209 16:13, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
